A Trip to the midwest

In April, my sister got married in Jamaica. In June, she had a reception to celebrate. I was able to fly out there and photograph it for her.

The theme of the reception was burlap and lace. It was in a "barn" out in the country in Indiana. It made miss the Midwest.

We drank out of ball jars that my sister painted with chalk paint.
The centerpieces on the tables had lanterns and old jars with wild flowers.
My mother made these cute table runners for all the tables.
Since the reception took place in Amish country, it only made sense to have Amish baked pies instead of cake.

Their guests were a lot of fun! My sister is an American Sign Language interpreter. Many of her guests were either old classmates or people she works with. It was so interesting to watch her have conversations with her guests without saying anything. She is very talented and passionate about her profession!
My niece Kelley loves Uncle Jeffie!
I can't remember what Kyleigh was doing, but she was having fun!
We danced for a few hours.
And then they pulled out the Karaoke machine. Kenley and one of Jeff's nieces sang an entire Taylor Swift song. ADORABLE!

 Jeff and his proud mamma!
By the end of the night, we were all exhausted. It was a lot of work to set up the reception hall and dance the night away.

Congrats Jeff and Kyleigh! Thank you for letting me celebrate with you.

P.S. My sister is now pregnant....and due on my birthday! Can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew.
