If you haven't read Jane Austen's books, I would highly recommend those. Start with Pride and Predjudice, cause I'm going to have a P&P watching party soon!amyburbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14479648203640059992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5646360222308259282.post-83234249442452813732008-03-17T09:00:00.000-07:002008-03-17T09:00:00.000-07:00I recommend anything by Wally Lamb or John Irving....I recommend anything by Wally Lamb or John Irving. My favorite John Irving is The World According to Garp and A Widow for One Year.

Right now I'm almost done with two books, A New Earth (not sure if you'd like this one, it's hard to "get on board" with) and a potty-training book. I'm also at the beginning of Women & Money by Suze Orman. I suggest that one - lots of good stuff in there.

Memoirs of a Geisha is also very good, if you haven't read it yet.MelissaInkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14331571677876549629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5646360222308259282.post-23399968933679593632008-03-16T06:18:00.000-07:002008-03-16T06:18:00.000-07:00I'm trying to think of more. It's kind of weird reading about a romance mixed in with a murder mystery... but the mystery part of his books makes it impossible for me to put down. He's got some books that involve this "sports guy" (I think he's a scout or something). Anyway, I don't like the ones that he's in. I think that's because of my lack of interest in sports.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5646360222308259282.post-70775232860740458052008-03-14T12:08:00.000-07:002008-03-14T12:08:00.000-07:00I'm NOT a novel girl so i don't know if this will ...I'm NOT a novel girl so i don't know if this will interest you. One of my favorite books is "Believing Christ" by Bro. Robinson. It is not to long and for me it's a good read. It literally changed my life and shrank insecurities. The sequel is also great "Following Christ"The Gage Cagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08021454907212242197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5646360222308259282.post-61037914530567123782008-03-14T11:56:00.000-07:002008-03-14T11:56:00.000-07:00It really depends on what type of books you like. ...It really depends on what type of books you like. I have found that I love all of Jodi Picoult's books, especially "My Sisters Keeper". I also recently read, "The Tea Rose", by Jennifer Donnelly, which was very good. Read up on some reviews for them and hopefully you like them enough to go a buy them.Robynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15193508504808439634noreply@blogger.com
