We are now broadcasting in video
Yesterday James came home from work with a visa gift card. He received "The Ambassador Award" for his tv and newspaper appearances last year. As a reward for this award, PG&E gave him this gift card and a pin. We sat at the kitchen table for 30 minutes throwing out ideas for this money. Finally, we decided to go out to eat at one of our new favorite restraunts (Wahoo's Fish Taco) and then head to Best Buy and wonder around until we find something. Once we got into Best Buy we walked straight to the video cameras. I bought a video camera in 2000. It was very high tech for its time. It was one of the original VHS-C recorders. When I bought it, I though it was compact, but after looking at the new models we realized how bulky it is. We have been wanting to buy a new one for a couple of years, but everytime we had the money to buy one we would spend it on something else (we are major impulse shoppers). So we decided to use the gift card and James last mileage check to buy another camcorder. It's a cute saphire blue camera (we wanted the silver one, but they were out of them so I suggested the red one and James wanted the blue one. I let him have the blue because he worked hard for that money.) The coolest thing is that it also takes still shots with a wonderful built in macro mode. My nice digital camera stinks at up close pictures. So watch out for videos on here sometime in the future.
