My Car and our little "gift"

I have actually had my car for about 2 weeks now, but I have been too lazy to get a decent picture of it to put on here. I absolutely LOVE it. It's cute and fun to drive and best of all it will last forever. I am glad that James loves his new car so much because I would hate to give this one up.

I never talk about my dog on here, but I thought this was too cute and it has had me thinking. On friday, Echo went to the groomers to get her final summer cut. Since she's a girl (obviously) they always think it's so cute to put bows in her hair, which I promptly rip out as soon as I know they can't see me. This time they put a bow on her collar. The bow was just like ones you would put on a present. So all this weekend we were calling her "Gift" and we were amazed that she would answer to it everytime. I tried to take a picture of her with it, but she would not cooperate.

Echo has truely been a gift to our family. She was the ugliest dog at the pound but for some reason she stole my heart. Her personality fits right in with me and James. I love that she protects me and comforts me when I am sad. I think she has helped me be more patient with all these years of infertility.

We do have season tickets. We got the Young Alumni ones that were MUCH cheaper. (if you graduated in the last 4 years) Sometimes Josh gets tickets from his boss so I'll be sure to pass them your way if we come across any others!
Tyler is loving the pictures of your dog by the way. And I don't think she's ugly! I have a soft spot for dogs. :) How are you feeling?

What, now nail polish for Echo? Cute gift wrapping anyway. Love the car! I think you should put a bow on it. ;-0

She looks so cute. I love dogs, but don't want one, because that's just more work. I like your car.

she is definately not ugly now.. and i'm sure she wasn't ugly at the pound. all dogs are so cute.. in their own way. when i went get a dog at the pound i walked into the room and i went straight to lacey because she just caught my eye...and the lady was like oh you don't want that puppy.. she's scared and skiddish and pees when shes nervous. and she never goes to anyone. i went up to the cage and put my finger thru the wire and she walked right up to me and put her paw up to mine.. i knew right then it was meant to be and i was there to save her. she was awkward looking when i first saw her.. long legs..kinda like a baby deer..she wasn't sure exactly how to use her legs. haha but she is sooo cute now and is the perfect dog. hehe
