Our Camping Trip
No, that wasn't a typo. We did actually go camping. I tried to get some pictures of James in the tent as proof, but he got mad anytime I got near him with a camera. I did, however, get a few shots of him in the great outdoors (they aren't the best pictures because I was trying to be sly and act like I was taking a picture of something else).I think the only reason I was able to talk James into going was because almost all of our friends would be camping also. There was about 40 other people that we went camping with. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was nice to sit around the campfire and just talk. We brought Echo along with us. She did great and loved being outside. She had tons of kids to play and run with.
I would like to hope we won't wait another 6 years to go camping, but we will have to see. I asked James why he hates to camp so much and he told me because he hates to prepare for it. I thought this was funny considering the only thing he had to do was put the ice chest in the car. He has no idea what preparing for a camping trip really means.

We would never go camping if I didn't plan them so far in advance and set a date myself. I am already planning one for Oct!
I'm lucky! Dan helps a ton with getting ready for a camping trip. He's a pro at it.
